El Paso CVB urges community support
In an effort to instill pride in the community, the El Paso Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) is urging all El Pasoans to support Hyundai Sun Bowl events and the CVB’s Sun Bowl campaign on Facebook.
Starting December 7, the El Paso CVB will launch a special Sun Bowl campaign leading up to the game and are requesting that the community unite by changing their profile picture until December 31 when the Hyundai Sun Bowl Game will take place. Please go to facebook.com/visitelpaso, like the page if you’re not already a fan and download the featured profile photo.
“It’s important for El Pasoans to support the Sun Bowl, as it is one of the longest-running bowl games in the nation,” said William Blaziek, General Manager for the El Paso CVB. “This is also an excellent opportunity for us to change negative perceptions of our city so let’s welcome the teams and their fans with open arms and provide the world-class hospitality we are known for.”
