2013 story: Las Cruces man arrested on charges of public intoxication
Sheriff’s Deputies arrested a man from Las Cruces after he damaged a patrol unit.
Early Sunday morning deputies responded to a call on several people fighting near Central and First Streets in Canutillo.
Deputies made contact with 42-year-old Lorenzo Villaeck.
Villaeck was intoxicated, and violently uncooperative, according to deputies.
Villaeck resisted arrest for public intoxication, and damaged the rear window of a sheriff’s vehicle.
He was booked into a detention facility, with bonds totaling $2,000.
He faces charges of public intoxication, resisting arrest, and criminal mischief.
