Person airlifted to the hospital after semi crash in East El Paso

Update (4:40 PM): Special Traffic Investigators with the El Paso Police Department have been called out to investigate this crash.

A spokesperson for the El Paso Police Department says that crews are still on the scene because there is an oil spill as a result of the crash.


EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- First responders are at the scene of a crash involving a semi-truck.

The crash happened at Loma Verde Drive and Pine Springs Drive in East El Paso at 2:21 p.m.

The FireStar helicopter airlifted one person to the hospital.
