Pedestrian killed in Upper Valley identified
A man crossing an Upper Valley street was hit and killed last night. Police said they think he’d been drinking.
At close to 9 p.m. Friday night at the intersection of Doniphan and Hillside, 53-year-old Matthew Gurule was trying to run across the street.
This is video from the ABC-7 Round the Clock crew right after he, Gurule was hit by a pickup truck.
Police don’t believe the driver was drinking or speeding. But they said Gurule was not in a crosswalk when he was hit– and may have been drunk.
