Man accused of driving truck into house identified; charges filed
Update (2:46 PM): El Paso Police say that charges have been filed in this case. ABC-7 inquired into whether charges have been filed against Carlos Molinar. This is the response we received from a police spokesperson:
"Charges have been filed regarding this case; however, no arrest has been made."

Update (January 7, 2026): ABC-7 has obtained the police report for the incident involving a truck that crashed into a house in Northeast El Paso.
The police report states that Carlos Alfonzo Molinar was the driver. The report states that Molinar was exiting from the parking lot of the DK Gas Station when he drove across the road, hit the curb, and allegedly crashed into a three-foot-tall rock wall and rod iron fence. The report states that the truck then collided with the house. The report states that Molinar suffered minor injuries and was taken to the hospital. The homeowner was also transported to the hospital for injuries.
Police towed away the truck for further investigation.
"Intoxicated- Alcohol," is listed as a "factor" in this incident. Additional details are not provided.
EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- A truck crashed into a home Monday evening in the Northeast. That's according to El Paso Fire Department officials.
It happened at a house on Sun Valley Dr. and Sharp Dr. just after 6:30 p.m.
El Paso Fire says two people were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
The family of one of the injured people says their grandmother was inside the house when the truck crashed through the wall. Her family says she was injured and taken to the hospital.
