Unnamed NMCD employee on paid administrative leave

The New Mexico Corrections Department has placed an unidentified employee of a correctional facility on administrative leave in conjunction with the investigation into the drug bust on June 15, 2012.

Based on the safety sensitive position of the employee, coupled with the current progress of the investigation to establish or eliminate the potential role of the employee in the incident.

The NMCD has placed the employee on paid administrative leave, but cannot currently identify the employee’s name or location of employment.
