Developing: Body found at rest stop in Fabens
DEVELOPING: The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a man’s body discovered at a rest stop along Interstate 10 in Fabens.
Spokeswoman Chris Acosta told ABC-7 deputies were called to the rest stop at 2 a.m. near mile marker 51.
Acosta said it was reported by a group of people who pulled over at the rest area to stretch.
The witnesses who found the body remained at the area until deputies arrived.
It appeared investigators talked to drivers of other semi-trucks and RV’s parked at the rest stop.
The El Paso Sheriff’s Office said it will release details as they become available.
