Five cars involved in Saturday wreck

According to the Department of Public Safety officials, five people from El Paso were involved in a Saturday morning crash near mile marker 82.

All vehicles were traveling down Highway 180 in Hudspeth County when the wreck occurred.

One car was traveling eastbound when it drifted into the westbound lane, and hit another vehicle and caused a domino effect on the road.

Seven people in total were involved in the crash.

Two children traveling in the back seat of one vehicle were not wearing their seat belts.

At this time we do not know the status of the people involved or the extent of their injuries.
