Veronica Escobar wins 2nd term as El Paso county judge

Veronica Escobar has defeated her two opponents in the Democratic primary.

Because she does not have a Republican opponent in the November election she will be re-elected

Escobar had 16,389 votes or 53 percent, while businesswoman Aliana Apodaca had 7,735 votes or 25 percent, and City Rep. Eddie Holguin had 7,116 votes or 23 percent of the vote.
