Ascarate Park to host Beats and Eats event Sept. 13

Ascarate Park will be the place to be to get your groove on and fill your belly in September.

Beats and Eats will take place from 11:30 a.m. Sept. 13 to 2 a.m.

There will be two concert stages with Spanish and electronic music – one of which will feature a 30-foot-Eiffel Tower in honor of European DJs performing.

Music’s not the only entertainment you’ll find at the event. There also will be 100 vendors, a beer garden, and a car show.

Tickets are available at http://ticketf.ly/1uIqEPC with the following price level options:

$15 for general admission
$150 for From Paris with Love VIP. Includes access to From Paris with Love Ultra-Lounge/Food/2 Drink Tickets
$150 for The City Magazine VIP ticket. Includes access to The City Magazine Ultra-Lounge/Food/2 Drink Tickets

“I also wanted it to be the catalyst from something new for the city that took advantage of all of our local talent both in music and logistics. It’s working,” said Charles Dodds III, president of Homegrown El Paso.

Performers include Los Rieleros Del Norte, Richard Vission, Mark Farner, Tropicalisimo Apache, Maria Mulata, Johnny Kage, Rod Crosby and the Intruders, Dusty Low, Chuco Soul Project, Joe Barron, and Wild Flower.
