Motorcyclist critically injured Tuesday in multi-vehicle crash on I-10

A motorcyclist remains in critical condition after a crash that shut down I-10 for hours on Tuesday.

It happened just before 5 p.m. Tuesday on I-10 East near the Cotton exit.

The motorcyclist has been identified as 47-year-old Marvin St. Romain, who suffered severe head trauma.

Investigators say St. Romain and a woman on another motorcycle were speeding when traffic came to a halt and they both slammed into a car.

The woman, 49-year-old Monique Scott, was injured but not seriously.
