I-10 closed through Monday morning

The Texas Department of Transportation has a portion of I-10 from downtown to the UTEP campus completely closed.

The portion of I-10 is between Porfirio Diaz and Schuster.

The Yandell bridge that goes over the freeway is going to be removed.

Crews will install a concrete barrier over the new spur 1966 bridge.

I-10 will reopen at 5 a.m. on Monday.
