UTEP unveils schedule posters for men’s, women’s basketball teams

UTEP has released the schedule posters for the men’s and women’s basketball teams.

The UTEP men’s basketball team is projected to finish second in Conference USA this season, based on a vote by the league’s head coaches.

The top four teams in the voting were released and they are Louisiana Tech, UTEP, Charlotte and Old Dominion in that order.

UTEP sophomore forward Vince Hunter and senior guard/forward Julian Washburn have been named to the 10-man Preseason All-Conference USA Team.

The UTEP women’s basketball team has been pegged to finish fourth in Conference USA this year, according to the preseason poll that was revealed by the league office Oct. 8.
