41-year-old El Pasoan dies from injuries in traffic accident
A 41-year-old man has died from his injuries four days after a single-vehicle crash.
Guillermo Martinez, of El Paso, was driving on Loop 375 West near Railroad Dr. at about 7:37 a.m. Nov. 10 when the 2004 Dodge Ram he was driving left the roadway and rolled into the desert area.
El Paso Police patrol officers responded to the scene and their investigation led them to University Medical Center where Martinez was.
Police say Martinez was conscious and initial information indicated his injuries were not life-threatening.
On Nov. 14, the police department’s Special Traffic Investigations Unit was contacted and advised that Martinez had died from his injuries.
The case is currently under investigation.
