Passenger in Nov. 8 traffic collision has died
A man in a vehicle collision on Nov. 8 has died.
Roy Wollschlager, of El Paso, was a passenger in a 2008 Mercury involved in a traffic collision at 11:45 a.m. Nov. 8 in the 7300 block of Remcon. He died on Nov. 13.
El Paso Police’s Special Traffic Investigations’ preliminary investigation reveal that a 2004 Lexus, driven by Joy Slusher, turned into a private drive from Remcon.
Police say Slusher failed to yield the right of way to the Mercury that Wollschlager was a passenger in.
As a result of the collision, Wollschlager and the driver, Virginia Sollis, were both transported to Las Palmas Medical Center for treatment of their injuries.
