1st teaser trailer for new Star Wars film to hit the Internet Friday
Nov. 26 Update: The 88-second tease of“Star Wars: The Force Awakens” will debut online Friday, Nov. 28, the same day it will be shown in 30 theaters across North America.
The tease will be available to view at iTunes Trailers, according to a tweet by Star Wars.
Nov. 24 Story: An early 88-second tease of “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” can be seen in 30 theaters across North America beginning Friday morning, Nov. 28, according to the official Star Wars website.
The tease will be seen in theaters around the world starting in December.

“The Force Awakens” was directed by J.J. Abrams and finished principal photography recently.
Several actors from the original trilogy will appear in “The Force Awakens,” including Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford, Anthony Daniels, and Kenny Baker.
Not much is known about the plot of the film but Daniels tweeted that it’s a better sequel than even “The Empire Strikes Back.” Many Star Wars fans consider “The Empire Strikes Back” the best film in the franchise.
