UTEP coach Tim Floyd, John Bohannon get into argument after Miner’s lose to Tulsa

UTEP head coach Tim Floyd benched John Bohannon for Saturday night’s game against Tulsa and then the two got into a verbal altercation after the game.

After Saturday night’s UTEP loss to Tulsa, ABC-7 witnessed Bohannon and Floyd get in a verbal altercation outside the Don Haskins Center.

In addition to Bohannon being benched against Tulsa, McKenze Moore did not start the game. Both were late to film study and it wasn’t the first time.

In recent games, Bohannon has either not played or came off the bench.

This is not the first time Bohannon has gotten into a verbal altercation with a Miner coach.

Bohannon and UTEP assistant coach Greg Foster – then a graduate assistant – got into a verbal spat a couple of seasons ago on the sidelines.
