FX picks up El Paso drama ‘The Bridge’
FX has ordered 13 episodes of “The Bridge,” a drama starring Diane Kruger and Demian Bichir. The show’s pilot episode was filmed in El Paso.
Filming on the series, co-produced by Shine America and FX Prods, begins in April for a July premiere, according to Deadline.com
The TV show is based on the Danish/Swedish series “Bron,” which was set on the border of Denmark and Sweden.
“The Bridge” is based set in El Paso on the U.S.-Mexico border and involves a police detective from each side of the border investigating a body found on an international bridge.
