Trailers released for FX show ‘The Bridge’ filmed in El Paso; show debuts in July

FX has has released three trailers for its new drama, “The Bridge.” The pilot was filmed in El Paso.

FX ordered 13 episodes of “The Bridge,” which stars Diane Kruger and Demian Bichir.

Filming on the series, co-produced by Shine America and FX Prods, begins in April for a July premiere, according to Deadline.com.

The TV show is based on the Danish/Swedish series “Bron,” which was set on the border of Denmark and Sweden.

“The Bridge” is based set in El Paso on the U.S.-Mexico border and involves a police detective from each side of the border investigating a body found on an international bridge.
