Del Valle wins 1-0 in state final four to advance to championship game

The Del Valle boys soccer team’s quest for a state championship is still alive.

The team defeated Pharr Valley View 1-0 in the state semi-final game Thursday afternoon in Georgetown, Texas.

Del Valle will play the winner of Waco University (31-0) vs. Mesquite Poteet (23-1-3). The championship game will be Saturday.
