El Paso Police seize 1 ton of pot worth $4 million; suspects still at large
El Paso Police seized 2,000 pounds of marijuana and 35 kilograms of cocaine on Monday night.
The seizure occurred in a home on the 1100 block of Diesel Dr. Police estimate the street value of the drugs at more than $4 million.
Investigators have identified that the drugs belong to a drug trafficking organization that is based out of El Paso.
Police allege that this organization is responsible for transporting illegal drugs to the north and northeastern parts of the United States.
No arrests have been made in connection with the drug seizure but police said they expect multiple arrests to be made.
