One dead after shooting in Northeast El Paso

UPDATE: Police have confirmed that a 36-year-old man is dead after a shooting in Northeast El Paso.

The man was airlifted around 7 p.m. Wednesday evening on the 3600 block of Fred Wilson.

Police say that a suspect shot and killed the man, but they don't have a suspect at this time. They do believe that the incident was isolated and there's no additional danger to the neighborhood.


EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- One person was taken to a hospital Wednesday evening after a shooting in Northeast El Paso, according to El Paso Police.

Officers responded to the 3600 block of Fred Wilson just after 7 p.m. after receiving reports of a shooting.

One person was transported to a local hospital.

Police have not released information about the victim's condition.
