Former Miner Julyan Stone to play for NBA’s Raptors
After not being offered a new contract with the Denver Nuggets former UTEP standout Julyan Stone has reached an agreement on a two-year deal with the Toronto Raptors.
Stone played with the Nuggets the last two seasons. Raptors general manager Masai Ujiri signed Stone out of UTEP when Ujiri was with the Nuggets.
Stone missed some of last season as he worked his way back into NBA shape after off-season hip surgery.
The Nuggets chronicled his journey with video posts on the team’s website.
