National Night Out events for Tuesday
The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office’s National Night Out party will be from 6 to 10 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 6 at 3850 Justice. The free family event includes kids activity zone, food and drinks, music, emergency response vehicles on display, health and safety awareness booths and local business showcased

On Tuesday, Aug. 6 the El Paso Police Department along with the Neighborhood Watch Association will be participating in the 30th Annual National Night Out event which is celebrated across the nation. The event is sponsored by the National Association of Town Watch to promote citizens’ involvement in their community in taking a stand against crime. The El Paso Neighborhood Watch Association together with many of the area Neighborhood Watch programs and other groups will be holding events showing that they stand united against crime. During the events, members of the El Paso Police Department will be visiting many of the gatherings in El Paso’s various neighborhoods. This program is one of the many community-policing programs that the El Paso Police Department supports. The El Paso Police Department encourages the community to participate in National Night Out by turning on their exterior lights during the event.
