Contractors invited to seminar explaining how to qualify for City of El Paso, TxDOT projects
For small- and medium-sized companies, the list of requirement to bid on and successfully win government contracts can be daunting.
The City of El Paso’s Engineering and Construction Management Department and the Texas Department of Transportation will hold a three-hour seminar designed to help construction contractors more successfully accomplish each of the following:
Submit accurate professional bid packages to the City of El Paso; Submit pre-qualification documentation to TxDOT; and Acquire and submit financial information and other required bid information for both organizations.
The seminar will be held on Wednesday, October 2, 2013, from 1 to 4 p.m. at the El Paso Community College Administrative Services Center, at 9050 Viscount Boulevard.
This presentation is geared toward the small- to medium-sized company which has limited experience with not only TxDOT pre-qualification procedures and submission of bids to the City, but also to help less-experienced companies understand the value of full audits, bonding, banking relations and the impact of the Affordable Care Act on your company.
Admission is free but registration is required. Those interested should register by going to http://events.constantcontact.com/register/event?llr=j4ufkenab&oeidk=a07e88h6dsr63ebdea9
