The “Obamacare” website, Healthcare.gov has been plagued with problems since its Oct. 1 rollout. ABC-7 researched the plans offered in the Borderland, and found three insurers offer health insurance plans in El Paso County. It is possible to bypass the government website and buy an insurance policy directly from an insurer. If you think you might qualify for a government subsidy, however, that can only be arranged at Healthcare.gov.
