Texas lawmakers wants to expand the Alamo

Tourists are flocking to the Alamo. This year marks the 177th anniversary of the missions’ fall.

The Alamo is just a fraction of the size it once was.

According to a report by CNN, a Texas lawmaker is looking to expand the Alamo.

The proposal would cost more than $100 million, and actually take out some buildings that are now considered historic.

The goal is to turn the area back, closer to what it looked like in 1826, the CNN report said.

Wednesday was the anniversary of the Fall of the Alamo.
