HOLLOMAN AIR FORCE BASE

TULAROSA, New Mexico (KVIA) --According to a social media post from the Holloman Air Force Base, members went to the Village of Tularosa to donate more than 400 cases of water amid the village's water crisis.

The post says that the community members including military members, civilian teammates and individuals from the Holloman went to the village to deliver the cases of water seen in the images below.

Officials from Holloman said the following about the donation and to those who dropped off the cases, "This is what community looks like, neighbors helping neighbors when it matters most. On behalf of Team Holloman, thank you to everyone who donated, volunteered and helped make this effort possible. Your generosity and support are a true reflection of the strength of our community."

This comes after the Village of Tularosa declared a state of emergency earlier in the week due to the water crisis that the village is facing.

Holloman Air Force Base is located 22 miles South-Southwest from the Village of Tularosa.
