ABC-7 StormTrack Weather: Tracking triples up to 104 Monday and Tuesday, rain chances returning

Happy blessed Sunday! Today will be slightly hotter in the Borderland, I am forecasting a high of 100. This is the beginning of more triples expected in the Borderland. Monday and Tuesday could be up to 104 across the Lowlands. We may issue an ABC-7 First Alert for the highs around 104.

Wednesday through Friday, another active monsoon pattern will return with daily afternoon rain chances and cooler temps!

Here's the weather setup for the next several days, a high pressure system is currently centered over the Four Corners of America which will bring hot temperatures to much of the Desert Southwest for the next three days. This will also bring high elevation storms to the Gila region and the western slopes of the Sacramento Mountains. The system will then dissolve by Tuesday evening and move to the Gulf by Wednesday which will funnel monsoonal moisture into the Borderland. Heavy rain with flash flooding will be possible!
