Blues Gem Discovered in Small Texas Town

A man who strummed with some of the greatest blues guitarists of his time is now a big city ex-pat. Mark Pollock, who also owned Charlie’s Guitars in Dallas and the Dallas International Guitar Show, decided to bail out of big city life and set up shop in Alpine, about thirty miles south of Marfa.

He grew up with Jimmie Vaughn and Stevie Ray Vaughn. And went on to eventually open in huge venues in the southwest for Eric Clapton.
