CISD considers non-renewing questionable administrators

The Canutillo School Board held a discussion in closed session Tuesday evening, regarding the non-renewal of several administrators contracts.

After emerging from behind closed doors at 11:20 p.m., the board announced it would not be taking any action until the Texas Education Agency audit is complete. Board President Armando Rodriguez said he expects the results to be in by March 12. At that point the board will make its decision regarding the administrators in question.

Rodriguez said according to the TEA report, some administrators from the central office and a number of campus may have played a role in the manipulation of student credits.
