ABC-7 First Alert: Another round of scattered to widespread storms that may produce heavy rain, strong winds, and blowing dust

Our StormTrack Weather Team has issued another ABC-7 First Alert for another round of scattered to widespread storms that may produce heavy rain, strong winds, and blowing dust... this time I think most of the area may get some action.

A low pressure system is currently over the Big Bend Region and slowly moving towards the Borderland which is giving us a lot of moisture. This plus daytime heating and orographic lift provide the perfect setup for another round of afternoon/evening storms today. By Monday, the upper-level low will be lose its strength, but some moisture will remain over the Borcderland. Most of the higher elevations main see the most action, while the rest of the Lowlands have a minimal chance for rain.
