High School Football: Canutillo & Hanks pick up wins on Thursday night

EL PASO, Texas - The high school football season officially kicked off in El Paso on Thursday night.

Four teams took the field for their first game of the season.

Canutillo opened their season in the win column following a 28-20 victory over Americas.

Hanks also started their season with a win after a home victory against Montwood, 63-27.
