A 74-year-old man was electrocuted while pruning pecan trees Monday afternoon, a Dona Ana County Sheriff’s Office spokesman confirmed to ABC-7.

There are few details but ABC-7 was told the man, whose name has not been released, was on a cherry picker while trimming the trees and came into contact with power lines at about 3 p.m.
