Way Out West celebrates 10 years

EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) — The Way Out West Festival is returning to downtown El Paso this month, celebrating its 10th anniversary with country music, food and activities for the family.

The festival will take place Saturday, Sept. 26, at the El Paso Convention Center and surrounding downtown streets. Gates open at 5 p.m.

Executive producer Gina Roe-Davis joined ABC-7 at Noon to preview this year’s festival.

Davis said the event will feature two stages of entertainment.

This year, children 12 and younger can receive free general admission when accompanied by an adult.

General admission tickets start at about $50. Davis said a four-pack is also available for $40 per ticket. VIP tickets are $250 and include drinks, food and parking.

The festival benefits the Cowgirl Up charitable fund.

Organizers hope to welcome about 10,000 people to this year’s event.

Tickets are available at epwayoutwest.com.
