Move with MADD: walk to raise awareness of impaired driving

KVIA

EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- Move with MADD (Mothers Against Drunk Driving) was held Saturday morning in East El Paso to raise awareness of impaired driving.

According to organizers, the 5K event was a way to bring people together in support of the organization's mission to end impaired driving.

Organizers say the event is an opportunity to honor victims and survivors, remember those lost to impaired driving, and to raise awareness and funds to help prevent impaired driving.

The event was held from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Saturday morning, at Ralph T. Cloud Park (Formerly Yucca Park) in the Crime Victims Memorial area.
