Miroslava Lem Quinonez, producer

Miroslava Lem Quinonez joined the ABC-7 team as a producer in August 2026.

A native of El Paso. Miroslava grew up in Juarez before returning to the United States for high school. She attended Del Valle High School where her interest for journalism started when she joined the school newspaper The Expedition. Growing up on both sides of the border shaped her passion for telling stories that inform and connect the community.

Miroslava graduated from Texas Christian University in May of 2026 with a bachelor's degree in journalism and a minor in French Language Studies. While at TCU, she worked as a reporter, copy editor and political editor for TCU 360 and TCU News Now. She covered campus and community events producing stories across broadcast and digital platforms.

Her journalism experience also took her abroad. In summer of 2025, Miroslava worked as a reporting intern for Catalan News in Barcelona, Spain. During her internship, she wrote articles covering local news, culture and events for an international audience. 

Miroslava is bilingual in English and Spanish and also studied French. Outside the newsroom, she loves going to the movies, listening to music, reading and crocheting. She is excited to begin her professional journalism career back home and serve the Borderland communities.
