ABC-7 StormTrack Weather: Cool Fall weekend before temperatures warm up again

EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- Tracking a cool fall weekend ahead for the Borderland, with temperatures running about 5 to 8 degrees below normal through Monday.

Saturday starts with some clouds, fog and low clouds in parts of the region. Those clouds should gradually clear by midday, leading to partly to mostly sunny skies for much of the area. A few light showers are possible, mainly near the eastern Sacramento Mountains.

Sunday will stay cool and breezy, with some clouds and fog possible near the eastern Sacramento Mountains. Winds will also increase again Sunday and Monday.

A warming trend begins early next week. Temperatures gradually climb, with highs returning to around normal by Wednesday. Most of next week tracking to stay dry, although a few mountain showers could develop Wednesday.
