ABC-7 Storm Track Weather: Quiet and dry weather expected across the Borderland.

The Borderland is settling into a stretch of quiet weather, with mostly sunny skies and dry conditions expected throughout much of the upcoming week.

Winds will gradually decrease this evening. Drier air will also move into the region, bringing mostly clear skies by mid-evening. With recent rainfall, there is a slight chance for patchy fog early Tuesday morning, although lingering winds should limit its development.

Tuesday will bring mostly sunny skies and lighter winds as a ridge of high pressure moves into the West. Temperatures will warm nicely, with afternoon highs potentially reaching several degrees higher than previously expected.

Wednesday will remain sunny and warmer, although west winds will pick up between 10 and 15 mph. A passing disturbance to our north Wednesday night into Thursday will bring a slight cooldown, knocking temperatures down a few degrees.

Looking ahead, quiet weather is expected to persist through the weekend. An upper-level low developing near Baja California, along with easterly winds near the surface, will help keep temperatures near to slightly below seasonal averages.

Overall, expect a dry and relatively calm week across the Borderland, with plenty of sunshine and only occasional breezy conditions.
