Man Arrested, Allegedly Wanted to Hire Hit Man to Kill Wife

Investigators say a Northeast El Paso man was willing to pay a hired killer $150,000 to kill his wife.

Police arrested and charged Carl Lamb, 26, with Criminal Solicitation (Murder). Lamb remains jailed on a $500,000 bond.

An unnamed source told detectives Lamb was looking to hire a hit man while he was in jail for a different case.

Once Lamb was released, an undercover police officer posing as a hit man contacted him.

Lamb was arrested after he allegedly offered the undercover officer the money to kill his wife.
