New El Paso tourism app will help you find things to do no matter your time crunch

Whether your visit to El Paso is a short one or a long one, Visit El Paso has you covered.

Visit El Paso unveiled the “Official Visit El Paso App” on Monday.

The free smartphone app is available for iPhone and Android devices and was designed to help visitors and locals navigate El Paso and its numerous attractions, restaurants, special events and festivals.

The custom-designed app also features several different itineraries based on how much time an individual would like to commit to exploring the community – from an hour to half a day to longer.

Additional features include:

Walking, bike, and driving tours of El Paso; most of which have an accompanying audio track withinformation on specific sites along the way City-wide Master Calendar that is automatically updated as events are added, removed or edited Current weather conditions and weekly outlook Instant access to the Official Visit El Paso Podcast and Visit El Paso’s current Visitors Guide Direct Access to Visit El Paso’s Social Media Outlets

In the next two weeks, it will be the only tourism app in the nation to offer iPhone users the opportunity to use Face Time technology to quickly connect with a Visitor Information Specialist, according to Visit El Paso officials.

Should individuals have questions about the city or an event, they can contact a VIC specialist daily, from 10am-7pm.
