The 7-month-old baby found in West El Paso May 15 was smuggled into the U.S., according to the baby’s mother.
El Paso Customs and Border Protection officers detained Mayra Selene Lazos at the Bridge of the Americas at about 3:30 p.m. May 15 after she allegedly presented a Colorado driver’s license with a different identity.
