ABC-7 interviews former El Pasoan who played with U2

the right time. this is video of a former el pasoan being invited on stage by u-2 during friday’s concert in phoenix. but it wasn’t just to say hi and give them hugs – marc trevino actually performed concert rarity — in god’s country — with the band. the video has gone viral and rolling stone is even featuring it on its website. and it’s pretty awesome – with marc giving 3 of the members hugs before drummer larry mullen playfully blocked his hug with his drumsticks. abc-7 digital content director — leonard martinez — spoke with marc on the phone. marc says another fan was supposed to go up on stage, but when they couldn’t find that fan, bono looked at marc, and the rest was history: marc trevino: “so bono looked over and saw me and said “do you know the chord to ‘God’s country'” and fortunately i did …Once i said that, that was the key, then he pulled me up, and the rest in on that video, man” you can see the video of marc trevino performing with u-2 over at kvia.com. look for it on our home page. good morning! today we’ll be very nice! conditions should be enjoyable all
