El Paso Police make 40 DWI-related arrests over Memorial Day weekend

The El Paso Police Department made 40 Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) related arrests over the Memorial Day weekend.

There were:

Nine cases on Friday, May 22
Seventeen on Saturday, May 23
Nine cases on Sunday, May 24 Five cases on Monday, May 25

The breakdown of the cases is as follows:

19 cases of DWI > = .15
17 DWI cases
2 cases of DWI open container
2 cases of DWI 3rd or More

There were no traffic collisions that resulted in a fatality over the 2015 Memorial Day weekend.
