Deputies Arrest Three People Allegedly Growing Pot Inside Horizon City Home

An anonymous tip led to the arrest of three people allegedly growing marijuana inside a home, according to deputies with the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office.

Officials say Oscar Montoya, 26; Bianca Diaz, 32; and Aldo Diaz, 29, are in custody.

They were detained shortly after deputies arrived at a home on the 400 block of Sunset Hills Wednesday to execute a search warrant.

The deputies allegedly spotted a marijuana plant growing in the backyard. Once inside the home, deputies allegedly found an additional 26 marijuana plants, as well as lights to help the plants grow inside.
