summer creek high school named paul thomas…. he was a versatile wing and i thought any college who grabs this kid would be lucky to have him…. fast forward to now… he plays for utep… thomas was sold on utep because he loves tim floyd’s system… he chose utep over houston who was also trying to land him… thomas likes el paso already and has a good impression of miner fans.. “i know they’re ridiculous. i found out a lot about that on twitter. i had a hundred to two hundred fans follow me on twitter from utep and i got to see the arizona game on t-v and the don was packed.” thomas says his length and versatility are his two best attributes and is excited about the miners chances this season… day 2 of the ncaa national track and field
