Lou Henson Completes 7 Days of Chemotherapy

A source close to the family says legendary NMSU head coach Lou Henson underwent seven days of chemotherapy in Houston and is returning to his summer home in Champaign, Il.

Henson, who also coached at Illinois, traveled to Houston a little more than two weeks ago for tests on a weakened immune system.

The source says Henson is in “Good spirits.”

Henson tested negative fornon-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma in June.
