El Paso Police arrest 3 in Northeast drive-by shooting

Original Story: El Paso Police have arrested two men and are looking for another in connection with a shooting investigation in Northeast El Paso.
El Paso Police SWAT members executed simultaneous raids at two Northeast residences pursuant to search warrants obtained by gang unit investigators.
Gang unit officers began investigating a drive-by shooting that occurred on at about 11 p.m. Aug. 7, 2015 at the 5300 block of La Taste in Northeast El Paso. No one was injured in the drive-by shooting.
Officers identified two men allegedly involved in the shooting and obtained warrants for their arrest along with two search warrants for addresses on 10020 Kenworthy and 10466 Hodges.
Michael Murphy, 22, was taken into custody by the gang unit without incident shortly after leaving the residence on Hodges
While the search warrants were being executed the second alleged suspected, 19-year-old Victor Mata, was spotted in the vicinity in a blue Toyota Tacoma driven by 20-year-old Samuel Lewis.
The vehicle was found in the area moments after it had crashed and Lewis was arrested in the area.
Police say Mata was able to leave the area before officers arrived on the scene.
Mata is wanted for allegedly Engaging In Organized Criminal Activity-Aggravated Assault with a deadly weapon.
Murphy was booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility on two charges of Engaging In Organized Criminal Activity-Aggravated Assault with a deadly weapon, with bonds totaling $100,000.
Lewis was booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility charged with Aggravated Assault on a Peace Officer under a $50,000 bond and with Hindering Apprehension or Prosecution under a $5,000 bond.
