football game at jones stadium… seriously … it’s awesome… that’s where we go for parkland and el paso .. i hope you guys can appreciate how cool that stadium is… el paso had some issues in the first half… here… the botched punt… parkland picks it up … leads to a field goal… late first half… jacob mendez… a 21 yard run down to the three… that sets up matt poras… touchdown parkland… it’s 9-zip … they’re pitching a shutout until el paso says okay that’s about enough of this… anthony escobedo finds tre wolf with the one handed catch! 69 yards for the touchdown… tigers trail 9-7 at the half… but the night belongs to parkland… mendez again… a 50 yard touchdown run! parkland wins it 22- 13..they’re now 2-0… centennial hosting gadsden at the field of dreams… 2nd quarter… it’s already 14-nothing… keith jasso strolls into the end zone untouched. 21-0 hawks … next possession… dante lopez… finds junior pena who escapes the tackle and scores… centennial all over gadsden… 55-6 the final… the irvin rockets hosting the mountain view lobos…both teams looking for their first win of the season. and in the first quarter– on 4th down mountain view’s pierre robles hits eddie robles who makes two men miss stays along the sidelines and is gone! mountain view takes the 7-nothing lead. and then early second quarter–its robles again this time with the quarterback keeper! just like that its 14- zip… but irvin would fight back just before the end of the first half. here irvins adam knutson with the lob to khalil smith who keeps his feet in bounds!! they close the gap 14-7 at the half … but it’s not enough… mountain view wins it 21-14… jameill showers never got into the game
