Motorcycle crash leaves one dead

Police have identified the woman killed in an early morning crash in central El Paso.

Investigators say 44-year-old Elisa Galvan was the passenger on the motorcycle that was hit by another vehicle from behind while waiting at a red light.

The crash happened just after 1:00 a.m. Saturday morning.

Galvan and the driver of the motorcycle were thrown from the bike after impact.

Galvan was pronounced dead on the scene and the driver was taken to UMC with non-life threatening injuries.
